Brief Biog:

Richard is an actor/producer and has been working professionally in film & media for over 15 years. Richard is best known as an actor for playing Pete Webster in Hollyoaks on Channel 4, and perhaps more crudly for a popular sketch within the IT crowd...

In front of the camera Richard has been in films that have played in festivals and won awards around the world. Richard spent a time living and working in LA being managed by AMG and made regular appearances as the face of Nestle ‘Butterfinger' in the network commercials during the 1990's.

After appearing in Hollyoaks in 2008 The Daily Mail called Richard a 'Bright Young Thing' and with numerous projects in various stages of development as a producer and actor, things are looking great for Richard in 2009.

Richard is a voting member of the British Film Academy (BAFTA), a member of Equity, The New Producers Alliance and the Actors Centre London. Richard is represented as an actor by the excellent BWH Agency in London. Click here for more on Richard Cambridge actor.

Christmas 2007/8 was the last appearance of Pete Webster in Hollyoaks.
The IT Crowd series Series 2 is regularly showing on More 4 and is available on DVD series 3 is now out.
Video for Milburn was released in September 2007 it still plays on MTV now and again.

Feature film 'Forest of the Damned' is available through Mosaic/Warner Bros in the US and UK. Rent it through Blockbuster. Playing regularly on SKY Zone Horror.
After a very long wait 'Idol of Evil' has gained a distribution deal with amazon and is expected to be on sale in 2009.
Short film '2 minute silence' is complete and touring the festival circuit.

Richard Cambridge Production:

Short film 'The Last Download' is currently in post. This is Richards first short in which he directed and played a role it was shot in 2007-8. Expected to be complete April 2009.

-- 'Special Delivery', action thriller, looking to shoot spring/summer 2009
Work still in development: 'Dad Trade' a superb short idea, which is still in development finding its feet.
Early work as a Producer/Director includes 'I'm Only Here For The Summer' (2000), 'Mobile Phone Bill' (2003) both winning awards at festivals.
